The pools are fun for kids and there's a nice playground. The parking garage is tight, making it hard to navigate. Rooms had a decent view, but ours needed better cleaning. Staff were helpful overall.

Good location, beautiful beach views, and well-equipped efficiency rooms. The pools and lazy river are enjoyable; the breakfast had potential, thanks to a kind chef, but staff could improve service during busy weekends. cleanliness was a significant issue. We arrived to hair in the tub and debris on the floor. Maintenance was slow to respond. The pervasive smell of smoke-both pot and cigarettes-tainted our experience. Moving rooms didn't help. Potential exists, but the management must prioritize cleanliness and proactive service. If you can tolerate the less-than-ideal aspects, you might still find some enjoyment here. Just manage your expectations accordingly.

The beach access was a dream! I loved lounging by the heated pools, especially during February. Seeing the sunrise from the balcony was pure magic!

The room offered a comfortable stay with oceanfront views, perfect for relaxing. The clean, spacious suite included a full-size fridge and ample bath towels. I loved the unique wicker swing on the balcony, perfect for reading while enjoying the beach scenery. the floors could use better cleaning; we encountered a musty smell and found food remnants in the cabinets. The bathroom had cracked tiles and poor water pressure. The lack of cookware in the kitchen was surprising. The beds were comfy, but more blankets and pillows would have been welcome. The elevators were confusing and the parking garage felt too narrow.

The housekeeping was top-notch, always clean and tidy. I enjoyed the laundry service, made life easier with kids running around.
It was on the pricey side, but worth every penny.

The side view from the balcony was stunning, and the price for two nights felt fair. I loved the pool area, especially the lazy river, but breakfast was hit or miss-cold eggs and do-it-yourself waffles could use an upgrade. While the location was perfect for beach access, the room had a few issues; the microwave was broken, the floor was dirty, and the bathroom sink was faulty. Staff were friendly, but the overall maintenance left something to be desired. Despite the beautiful beach and friendly atmosphere, some updates are definitely needed.

I can't believe how outdated and filthy the place was. We found cockroaches and the pool was always cloudy. The elevators stank and constantly broke down. Plus, we had to call for towels multiple times! Such a frustrating experience.

The heated pools and lazy river are fantastic and perfect for kids. Staff are super friendly and breakfast is tasty, especially if you beat the fruit rush.

The room also featured modern amenities like an AM/FM alarm clock and a flat-screen TV, which added to our comfort and convenience. The housekeeping service was efficient and kept our room clean throughout our stay. One thing that stood out was the grocery shopping service offered by the hotel, which made it easy for us to stock up on essentials without having to leave the property. the laundry service was a great convenience for us during our stay. Although there were many positives about our experience at Monterey Bay, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The welcome drink provided upon arrival was a nice gesture, but we felt that more variety could be offered. we would have appreciated more assistance from the tours/ticket desk to help us navigate the area and plan our outings better. our stay at Monterey Bay was enjoyable, and we appreciated the comfortable amenities and thoughtful services provided. It was a relaxing retreat by the beach, and we would consider returning in the future.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the concert tribute to ABBA at the Carolina Opry Theater. The high, energy music and dance, along with state, of, the.
My wife says that the show lacked interactive elements for kids.

Every room features a beach-front balcony that offered stunning views of the ocean, creating an enjoyable atmosphere as I relaxed during my weekend strolls; the nearby Apache Pier is just under 5 km away, perfect for a day of fishing or enjoying the scenic beach walks, while the vibrant Broadway at the Beach is only about 6 km from the hotel, making it convenient to explore dining options like Mariner Pizza and River City Cafe just a few steps from the hotel. The amenities, including a pool and complimentary breakfast, contributed to my overall positive experience, but I did notice that the hotel could benefit from some updates and better maintenance.

The location was great, with a stunning view of the beach from our balcony. The swimming pools were clean and staff friendly, offering a generous amount of bath towels. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable beds and spacious room, which included a full-size kitchen with nice appliances.
Our room showed signs of wear and lack of maintenance, with doors not closing properly, dirty floors turning our feet black, and issues with balcony doors and kitchen cabinets. We experienced difficulties with parking and check-in, including pressure to attend a timeshare presentation.

Pools are a major draw but not so much for cleaning staff. The complimentary breakfast with ocean views was a lovely start to my day. The Grand Strand area was indeed rocking with New Year's events, perfect for families or couples.
Found a whole zoo in my room! .

Had an epic time with my squad seeing this Irish rock band mix Celtic vibes with wild creativity at a top, notch theater with mind, blowing effects and energy. The ABBA tribute show at Carolina Opry Theater had us dancing non, stop, and the holiday revue in Conway with local talent was lit!
We wished for a more happening nightlife scene for young party animals to keep the good vibes going even after the shows! .

Monterey Bay Suites provided us with a delightful beachfront experience during our stay with our light sleeper grandchild. The views were breathtaking and the proximity to shopping was a major convenience. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning made it a perfect retreat from the heat. The balcony overlooking the ocean was a lovely spot to relax. The staff were friendly and check-in/check-out was a breeze.
Although the second room was cleaner, the linen was in rough shape and had a bad smell. The broken sliding door and microwave were also inconvenient.

the room was clean and nicely decorated - with a full kitchen and comfy beds. the location was close to everything, and the view from the balcony was amazing. the hotels pools and playground were perfect for my little ones. the breakfast was excellent every day - with lots of options to choose from.

Love the beach view and location, plus the multiple pool areas and easy pool access. It was a beautiful scene with friendly staff. Breakfast was decent, and the breakfast lady treated us well.
The rooms were rundown with maintenance issues like broken toilets and microwaves. Parking garage was tight causing car scraping, and elevators had long wait times.

the view was beautiful. the beach was everything we wanted it to be. the swimming pools were good. we honestly did have a good time on this trip. the location was phenomenal! we loved the ocean view room. we did enjoy the breakfast every morning! and, we found the staff to be incredibly friendly. the beds werent horrible and staff was nice. location was good and i like how it had multiple pools an sat rite on the beach. free garage for parking. hours for the pool were good and had a little play area for children.
